Edisto Beach

Edisto Beach is an unspoiled semi-tropical stretch of white sandy beaches, lush saltwater marshes and meandering creeks that beckons to those who are trying to get away from it all.

Edisto Beach is a family beach and provides countless nooks and crannies for picnicking, shelling, crabbing, and fishing.

Wild birds in flight delight and entertain you with their antics as they feed, and ghost crabs scurry up and down the beaches keeping the sunbathers company.

Edisto Beach State Park offers camping at its very best with oceanside campsites and nearby cabins providing the setting for richly rewarding camping experiences. The park features nature trails, hiking trails, interpretive programs and endless opportunities to observe the saltwater ecosystem. Ancient moss shrouded live oaks and palmetto trees shade bicycle and jogging trails while offering protection to historical sites, quiet churches and remote graveyards.

Edisto Beach is a shell collector's paradise. Its many stretches of sandy beach offer the collector the many treasures the ocean deposits with each tide. The firm sandy beach also provides a wonderful path for walking or jogging. Rentals are available in private beach homes or condos overlooking the golf course or marina.
